A Little Something for You…Bid on TPPSF’s Silent Auction

As part of our March 13 Evening with Leslie Sbrocco, The Princess Project San Francisco will be holding a special silent auction.

Please take a look at all of the fabulous items up for bid.

Interested in one of the items but can’t attend our event? You can still bid!

Here’s what to do:

1.  Review the lots and make note of the items you wish to place a bid.

2.  Send the short description, lot #, and amount of your bid to Sara Gorski and Michelle Miller by 8:00 am Pacific Standard Time, March 13, 2010.

3.  You will be notified of the outcome by Sunday, March 14, 2010 and arrangements will be made for you to pay for and receive the item.  We can accept credit cards, cash, and check.

Volunteer at our Dress Sorts and Giveaways!

Join The Princess Project as we work to make dreams real for over 3,000 girls this spring!

We would love to see your smiling face at one of our dress sorts and giveaways. Please check our Location page and find the site most convenient for you.

For dress sorts, both women and men are welcome, as well as teenagers. On giveaway days, we can only allow women older than high-school age to participate.

Join Yuppie Friday and The Princess Project on February 19!

Yuppie Friday is helping The Princess Project fulfill their mission of providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who cannot otherwise afford them. The Princess Project will be on hand accepting dresses and accessories. A $50 dry cleaning gift certificate to Pacific Heights Drycleaners and Raffle tickets will be given in exchange for your generous dress or accessory donation.

Your $20 presale ticket includes a donation to The Princess Project, two cocktails, and wine tastings courtesy of Artesa Winery. Many local designers and models have donated their time to put on a fashion show. We have raffle prizes from sponsors such as Apple Computers, The Asian Art Museum, Hilside Bags, The Academy of Sciences, The Asian Art Museum, Funky Door Yoga, Crossroads Trading Co., ACT theaters, and many more…

2010 Dress Drive Dates Announced!

The Princess Project Dress Drive will be happening between February 8 – 19, 2010 at locations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.

Please check out our Dresses & Accessories page to find the donation guidelines and the drop off point nearest to you!

Dress Drives at The Joffrey Ballet’s Cinderella Performances

Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at the Music Center’s engagement of The Joffrey Ballet’s Cinderella partners with The Princess Project

Bring new and “nearly new” formal dresses and accessories to the Music Center Plaza during the Cinderella engagement and help a high school girl attend prom. The Princess Project, along with representatives from The Glass Slipper Project, will be on hand to collect formal dress donations that will be distributed to high school girls who could not otherwise afford their own formal prom attire. Donations are open to the public, there are no costs to donate and no need to have a performance ticket to participate.

There will be a collection table located outside on the Music Center Plaza prior to all performances of Cinderella. Donations will be accepted beginning 90-minutes prior to performances.

30 minute parking validations provided at time of donation for the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion garage (enter on Grand Avenue). Cash parking charge of $9 will be refunded upon exit with validation. Please note, complimentary parking does not include valet.

The FIDM students will be competing to see who has the best reinvention of a prom dress.
