Can you use donations of wedding dresses or prom dresses? If so, how can I donate them?

  2. Liza says:

Hi, Just found out about the Princess Project, I have a few prom dresses I would like to donate. In excellent condition. I think this is fabulous! I live in the UK.. How can I donate them? Is there an address I can post them out to?

Hi, I live in Santa Cruz CA and I want to donate my dress ( I was in a wedding this summer) but there is not anywhere close enough for me to drop it off. Is there somewhere that I can send my dress. Or can you let me know if there will be a donation drop off close to my area. I would like it to go to someone that will wear it, not just collect dust in my closet. Thank you.

This is such a nice thing you do! I’ve been looking for free dresses online, b/c I know I can’t afford one. I was thinking of the work I’d have to do to it before I’d be happy with it. Thank you for doing this for girls like me who can’t afford one of those 300 dollar dresses. The prom ticket itself is expensive enough!! Please let me know how I can get one of the dresses… if not from her then from some where else. I would love to go to prom this year.

Hello, folks. This is a great idea! Dresses can be worn more than once, and no one looking on will know the difference! What areas are you working in?

Hi Deena. We currently have sites in San Francisco, the East Bay, Silicon Valley and San Diego.
