The Princess Project Tiara Times – February Edition

There’s nothing quite like spring cleaning in February to make you feel ahead of the curve. At The Princess Project, we’ve collected hundreds and hundreds of gorgeous dress donations from our Community Dress Drive and are settling into our site locations in downtown San Francisco, the East Bay, Silicon Valley, and San Diego! We have begun sorting dresses and setting up for our giveaways in March & April.

The Princess Project strives to promote self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses & accessories to high school girls who could not otherwise afford them. Since 2002, we have served over 9,000 girls and look forward for our upcoming giveaway events in four locations!

Future Fairy Godmothers…sign up to volunteer!

While Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother conjured up a magical pumpkin, all you need is some time, talent…and we have plenty of taffeta. Our dress giveaway events rely on wonderful volunteers to help make dreams come true! Sign up today to volunteer!

We need volunteers for setting up the site, sorting dresses, helping girls shop for dresses, and cleaning up after the events! Women volunteers only at the dress giveaways, please…but we welcome brothers, husbands, boyfriends, and great guy friends for site clean-up! Click here to sign up at our different sites.

Volunteer Spotlight: Patricia Lee Martinovic

We cannot run on prom dresses alone and sincerely appreciate all of our dedicated volunteers. In honor of how much we love our volunteers, we’re going to start giving warm fuzzies and acknowledge those volunteers whose tiaras are shining a bit bright and have gone above and beyond.

This past weekend volunteers helped move endless amounts of dresses and racks from storage into our San Francisco site. This week we’d like to thank Patricia Lee Martinovic, who is technically the East Bay Co-Chair, but who graciously came to San Francisco to help with the SF team’s move-in. Thank you, Patricia, for your time, talent and taffeta!

If you’d like to nominate someone as an outstanding and fabulous volunteer maven, please email newsletter@princessproject.org
