* This Saturday is Moving Day for the East Bay! Come Help!
* A Pretty Penny: Donate!
The weather outside might be frightful, but The Princess Project is gearing up for spring and, of course, prom with our Community Dress Drive beginning Feb. 8th! It’s the perfect time to clean out your closet and donate your fabulous prom or bridesmaid dress.
Due to extremely limited storage we can only accept dress donations during our public dress drive February, 8th – 14th. So please hold on to those sequins, satin, tulle, and taffeta until then!
Click here to see the 25 dress drop-off locations near you…throughout the Bay Area & San Diego!
Gather your friends, classmates, coworkers, & neighbors throughout your community to donate dresses to The Princess Project. Start by reading our How to Host a Dress Drive Instructions here.

Moving Day in the East Bay! This Saturday!
Wanted: a few good (strong) men…and women! The Princess Project East Bay needs help moving items from storage in San Leandro to Oakland Uptown.
From 9:30am, we need help in San Leandro to load the truck. The storage is a short distant from BayFair Mall. From 1:30pm, we’ll need help in Oakland Uptown (near Broadway and W. Grand) to unload the truck.
If you are interested in lending a helping hand in the East Bay this Saturday, please email patricia@princessproject.org
Future Fairygodmothers…
Stay tuned in mid-February for volunteer sign-ups for helping out with dress giveaway days! We couldn’t do this without the support of wonderful volunteers.
A Pretty Penny: Donate
This year, the Board of Directors is hiring an executive director to help us do even more in the future. We’re looking for 1,000 fairy godmothers (or godfathers) who can give $25 to support our efforts and turn those shoes into glass slippers and those dresses into ball gowns! Donate here to Grant Wishes!
We believe in the power of community and in connecting resources by giving high school girls the “tulle” they need, so that they have the tools for a bright future! The Princess Project strives to keep the cost of sending each girl to prom at $25 per girl! Consider being a fairy godmother or father and invest in the future by helping us send even more girls to prom!
